Sprouting

One part of Living Food and Raw Food is sprouting. That´s one of the ingredient of my everyday food. Sprouts carry plenty of vitamins, minerals, proteins, and enzymes, all necessary for the body to function optimally.
What I found out, there is a very good information on sprouting on the web. If you are a beginner you will probably start with some facts en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sprouting
Otherwise there are a lots of good webpages such as sproutpeople.org and http://www.sprouting.com/

Below you can see some pictures of how I started sprouting!

Place in water seeds or grain to soak according to type of seed. (approximately 6-8 h)
Rinse and place in a jar 45 degrees angle to sprout. Rinse 2 times a day. Place in the window to develop chlorophyll.

Remove hulls by placing sprouts in water. Use for example in your favorite salad recipe.

I do warmly recommend you to do this! It is easy, you will get so many good things from it and the best part of it all - you made it by your self!

Welcome to my blogg Living Food

I eat living & raw foods and I just love it! Why!? Because I feel great, light and full of energy! One of the reasons why I started this blog is because I would like to share my experiance with everyone who is interested, so you could feel the same way as I do!

What is Raw Food & Living Food?

The Raw and Living foods, is a diet based on naturally grown/wild or organically and sustainably raised fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouted grains. It is completely free of animal products, and chemically processed or pasteurised ingredients.

In general, food heated over 43°C destroys it’s enzymes and alters the molecular structure of the food, creating toxic elements which must be eliminated or stored to protect the body from damage. It’s this internal damage that causes the external effects we label as aging.

Live foods contain high concentrations of “active” enzymes. This enzymes are awakened when raw foods are sprouted, like nuts and seeds, which then become “living food”.

The whole beauty of raw foods is that the ingredients are very simple. Because nothing is processed everything comes in its raw, natural state. A living foods diet offers the body a continual and abundant supply of oxygen. The nourishment of your body is the LIFE which is present in your food and those intangible elements - ENZYMES.

Here are few words regarding living foods:

“It is believed that living foods get their electrical charges from the highly charged electrons sent to us by the sun. The foods condense the sunlight energy and feed it to our body’s cells. Researchers in their field believe that this condensed electrical energy has the ability to awaken relatively inert molecules in our system by either taking an electron or giving them one. That’s why the high electrical potential of living foods is an important factor in their healing power.”
