HELTHY ORANGE JUICE

This morning I made some juice full of good things. After 5 minutes I allready had a lots of energy!

Take some oranges, carrots and some ginger.

 Juice, pour & drink!

FILLED AVOCADO WITH RAW CHEESE

The other day I made some quick lunch. I had some raw cheese, sprouts and avocado. Then I made some good salad and the lunch was ready!

Raw cheese:

2 cups cashews
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon sea salt (or slightly less)
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
Optional: 2 to 3 more tablespoons water if needed to facilitate blending

1. Throw all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend.
2. The best way is to blend from going slow all the way up to fast again. You can also add a bit more water (mentioned above) but I try not to add any more water than three additional tablespoons because you want to keep the texture more on the thick side.
3. Pill the avocado take the seed away and fill the hole with raw cheese. Top with your favorite sprouts. You can also made you favorite salad as I did!
Leftover raw cheese sauce will keep for up to four days in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator.
Enjoy!!!

RAW CHOCOLATE PINK DOUGHNUTS

The other day I made some pink doughnuts mostly for my daughter and we just loved them! I found recipe on - fragrant vanilla blog. Do try them!

Doughnuts:
3 cups almond meal
2 1/2 cups dried shredded unsweetened coconut
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp honey
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 small 2 inch chunk red beet (or enough to color the cake red, I used a red beet juice from my juicer)

Raw Chocolate Glaze:
1/2 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup raw cacao powder
a pinch sea salt
1/4 cup maple syrup

To make the doughnuts, combine all ingredients and process until smooth.  Shape into 16 balls, and then shape into doughnuts and place on a dehydrator sheet.  Dry for about 8 hours or until not sticky.  To make the glaze, whisk all ingredients until smooth.  Let sit a little while to thicken.  Place the doughnuts on a drying rack.  Drizzle the glaze over the doughnuts, put them on a foil lined sheet pan.  Place in the freezer to harden for a few minutes.  Remove from freezer and they are ready to eat!

Cauliflower salad with green peas

1/2 cauliflower head
1 cup of green peas

1/4 tsp sea salt
Dash of black pepper
2 tbsp hemp oil (your favorite high quality oil is fine: flax, avocado, olive…)
Juice of 1/2 lemon

1. Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Blanch the peas until bright green and tender. Rinse in ice water to stop cooking and preserve color; drain and set aside.
2. Place cauliflower in a food processor and process till the mixture is finely chopped, and looks like rice.
3. Turn cauliflower mixture into a bowl, and toss with the hemp seeds, salt, pepper, peas, hemp oil and lemon. Done!

To boost up the system even more I made a green juice! ( wheatgrass, apple, spinach, cucumber, celery and broccoli)

Juice from wheatgrass is so good for you because of many things some of them are:
  • Increases red blood-cell count and lowers blood pressure
  • It cleanses the blood, organs and gastrointestinal tract of debris
  • Stimulates metabolism and the body’s enzyme systems by enriching the blood
  • Restores alkalinity to the blood
  • Is a powerful detoxifier, and liver and blood protector
  • Fights tumors and neutralizes toxins
  • Neutralizes toxic substances like cadmium, nicotine, strontium, mercury, and polyvinyl chloride
  • Turns gray hair to its natural color again
  • Increases energy levels when consumed daily
  • Restores fertility and promotes youthfulness
